Fake Models On eBay

It has been brought to our attention that a number of fake models of our recent Tower Transit Routemaster are being offered for sale on eBay.

There are many things wrong with the fake models most notable is that the model used is an old casting not the modified RM casting we now use, also the models are not being supplied in the bespoke box that Tower Transit commissioned.

We are currently seeking legal advice on this matter so would like ask you to please make sure if you intend to buy a Tower Transit Routemaster that you are purchasing it from a reputable source.

We were recently commissioned by Tower Transit to make a model of an iconic London Routemaster. After the withdrawal of their heritage route 9H by TFL, Tower Transit wanted to pay tribute to this route by creating a commemorative model for use as a Christmas gift for its employees.

This model was produced by Tower Transit for internal use only and will not be made available for sale direct to the public.
